Response to "North Korea calls its nukes ‘stark reality,’ criticizes G-7"

Dear, Reader

North Korea has defended its nuclear weapons program, calling it a "stark reality" and criticizing the Group of Seven nations for condemning the country's missile tests. The state-run Korean Central News Agency said that North Korea's nuclear weapons were a "deterrence" against aggression from the United States and its allies. The G-7 (Group of Seven), which includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, and the United States, had issued a joint statement condemning North Korea's recent missile tests and calling for the denuclearization of the Korean peninsula. In its response, the KCNA (Korean Central News Agency) accused the G-7 of being "hypocritical" and "arrogant," saying that the group's actions were aimed at strengthening their own military power while ignoring the fact that North Korea had been forced to develop nuclear weapons for its own self-defense. Also this statement accused the G-7 of "double standards," stating that the group had not condemned the United States for its own nuclear weapons program or for carrying out military exercises in the region. The KCNA said that North Korea was committed to maintaining its nuclear weapons program and would continue to develop its missile capabilities.

  1. Although North Korea is hate able and a horrid country, they are right. G-7 is hypocritical, they want power over everyone else. They wish for control, so they have authority over every other country. North Korea is calling them out, and they are right.
